Tavern Inn

Tavern Inn is located where a few roads meet up, including Mahathma Gandhi Road and Sayed Vasna Road. It’s a bit of a confusing spot if you aren't from around here. We’ve been running this place for several years now. It’s a mix of a place to stay and a place to grab a drink. The rooms are pretty basic, nothing too fancy, just a bed and a fan mostly. We have a lot of regulars who come into the bar area after they finish their shifts in Bina Nagar or Munshi Colony. It gets loud in the evenings, especially when there is a game on the small TV. The building is older, so the pipes sometimes make noise in the middle of the night. We try to keep things clean, but with so many people coming in and out, the floors get scuffed up pretty quick. The staff is just a few of us who live on the premises or nearby. We don't have a big uniform or anything. Most days we are just wearing whatever is comfortable for moving crates or changing sheets. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. People usually find us by word of mouth or by just walking past. The kitchen does some basic food, mostly fried stuff that goes well with the drinks. It’s a bit worn down in places, like the vinyl on the stools, but it’s a comfortable enough spot for most folks. We've seen a lot of faces come through those doors.
