The Wedding Planner

Our office is at 169 Jeevanahalli, right near the railway station. You can hear the trains passing by all day long, which you get used to after a while. The Wedding Planner is the name on our door, and it's pretty straightforward. People usually come to see us when they are feeling completely stressed out about their big day. We try our best to just listen and calm things down a bit. It’s a lot of listening to family members and trying to pick out the right fabrics for hours. We don't have one of those fancy showrooms with silk curtains and mood lighting. It’s more of a practical, messy space where we look through catalogs and make hundreds of phone calls. The area around the station is always moving and loud, and we are usually just as busy. We deal with the flower guys, the decorators, and the priests almost every day. It’s mostly about making sure the bride stays happy and that the food actually arrives on time. Sometimes things go wrong, like a fuse blows at the hall or the cake delivery is running late, and we have to fix it before anyone notices. We've seen just about everything in this business. We don't promise perfection because that isn't really possible. We just promise to be there and work as hard as we can. It’s a messy, beautiful kind of job and we have been doing it for a long time.
