The Treat

The Treat is located at Rajajinagar 179/Y. It is a straightforward kind of place where we do a lot of cooking and packing. The kitchen is the main part of the building, and it stays pretty warm in there because of the ovens and the stoves. We have a small area in the front where people come to pick up their things. Rajajinagar is a big area, and our spot at 179/Y is nestled among some other buildings and houses. We spend our day managing orders and making sure the food is ready on time. It is a lot of repetitive work, like chopping, stirring, and cleaning, but we do not mind it. We have some basic shelves where we keep the containers and the bags. The floor is made of cement and it is easy to wash down at the end of the shift. We are not a big corporation, just a few local people working together to keep the business going. Sometimes we run out of things and have to go to the market quickly, which adds a bit of excitement to the day. We do not have any mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home once everything is cleaned up. It is a very practical way to spend the day. There is always someone in the back busy with a pan or a knife. It is just how we operate.
