Danvar Foods Private Ltd is spread across units 7, 8, and 9 at Hongasandra, 11th Main, on Begur Road. Having three units right next to each other helps us keep things organized, though it still gets pretty crowded when a big shipment of food comes in. Begur Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise and dust, but we just keep the doors mostly shut and get on with it. We handle a lot of different food products, which means there’s always something to be counted, packed, or moved. The office part of the units is pretty small. It’s just enough room for a few desks and the computers we use for billing. Most of the action happens on the floor where the stock is. We have a good group of workers, many of whom live right here in the neighborhood. We don't have a corporate office feel at all. It’s more of a place where everyone knows everyone and we just work together to get the orders out. We don't have a big website or a social media person. We just rely on doing our job day in and day out. It’s a lot of lifting and checking labels, but it’s honest work. We don't have much to say about ourselves other than we are here every day making sure the food gets where it needs to go. That’s enough for us.
