Mittal Tower is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it. We are up on the 11th floor in the B Wing, so we get a decent look at M.G. Road from up here. Most mornings involve waiting for the lift which can take forever during the rush. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. Most people know the name because of the biscuits they had as kids. It’s a busy office. There is always someone coming in or out with paperwork. It isn't particularly fancy, just a lot of desks and people trying to get through the day's tasks. Sometimes the traffic noise from below drifts up even this high. We mostly focus on making sure the supply gets where it needs to go. It’s funny how a biscuit company runs on so many spreadsheets and phone calls. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually when things quiet down for ten minutes. It’s just how things are here in the middle of the city. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor. The walls are a plain off-white and there are stacks of samples in the corners. It feels like a place where real work happens. You can hear the hum of the air conditioners all afternoon. People here have been around for years, so it feels a bit like a second home for most of us. We just keep things moving.
