The Time Factory

Running The Time Factory inside Esteem Mall means we are right in the middle of all the noise and energy of Hebbal. Our shop at units 127 and 128 is usually filled with the sound of a hundred different clocks ticking, which you get used to after a while. We spend our days looking through small magnifying glasses at tiny gears or helping someone pick out a watch that actually fits their wrist. It’s a lot of fine work that requires steady hands. The mall environment is strange because you don't always know if it is day or night outside, but the Kasaba Hobli area is always buzzing. We aren't a massive chain; we are just the folks who show up every morning to open the shutters and make sure the displays are clean. Sometimes people come in just to ask for a new battery or because their favorite watch stopped working after years of use. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything. We just like watches and we know how to fix them when they break. The mall can get really packed on the weekends with families, so those days are a bit of a blur of talking to customers and trying to keep the glass cases smudge-free. It’s a simple business, really, just keeping time for the people who pass through Brs Nagar and Hebbal every day.
