We are over at 21 Aga Abbas Ali Road in Ulsoor. This part of Bangalore is pretty special to us, even though it’s gotten a lot busier over the years. We’ve stayed pretty much the same while everything else around us grew into tall glass buildings. The place has a lot of wood and open air, so it doesn't feel like you’re trapped in a box. We don't make things too complicated. The chairs are old, the menus are a bit worn at the edges, and the staff knows most of the customers by their first names. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for a couple of hours and nobody is going to bother you to leave. We get a lot of families who have been coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own children. It’s a bit tucked away from the main noise of the city, which is nice. We don’t do any of that fancy social media stuff or run big ads. People just know we are here at number 21. Sometimes the kitchen runs out of certain things late in the evening, but that’s just how it goes when you use fresh ingredients every day. It’s not perfect, but it’s our place and we’ve been here a long time.
