The Diamond Engineering Co.

You can find us at 25-A, Rajaji Nagar, right on Trichy Road. The Diamond Engineering Co. has been a part of this neighborhood for quite a while. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always noise from the traffic passing by. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned, with manual lathes and machines that have been with us since the start. We do mostly mechanical engineering work, fixing parts for local industries and helping out with custom metal jobs. The walls are covered in tools and there’s usually a thin layer of oil on everything, which is just how an engineering shop should be. We don't have a secretary or a lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone in greasy overalls who can help you out. We take things as they come. If a farmer needs a pump part fixed or a factory needs a gear cut, we handle it. It’s not always fast work, especially when we have to do things by hand, but we make sure it’s done right. We’ve seen many shops come and go on Trichy Road, but we’ve managed to stay put. We like it here in Rajaji Nagar. It’s a good community and we know most of our neighbors by name. It’s just a regular engineering place where we work hard and go home tired. We don't need much more than a good set of tools and a steady stream of work.
