Modern Furniture

Our shop, Modern Furniture, is up on the second floor of building 656. We are on 6th Cross Road in Rajendra Nagar. Most people know the area because we are near the passport office in Koramangala. Because we are on the second floor, customers have to walk up a flight of stairs to see our items. It’s not a huge showroom, but we fit quite a lot of stuff in here. We have all sorts of chairs and tables and home things. The whole place smells like new wood and fabric when you walk in. Koramangala is a really busy part of town, so the street outside is always full of cars. We have a few windows that look out over the road, and we often see the crowds of people waiting at the passport office nearby. The shop is run by a small team. We spend our time answering the phone and showing folks the different furniture pieces we have in stock. We keep our paperwork in a bit of a pile on the desk. It’s a very casual kind of place. We’ve been in Rajendra Nagar for a few years now. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to get the bigger sofas down the stairs, but we manage it. We don't use any fancy sales talk or anything like that. We just show people what we have on the floor and tell them the prices. It’s a simple way of doing things.
