The Country Club

The Country Club is located at 54 on the 6th Cross in Wilson Garden. It’s a busy area and finding a parking spot can be a real pain some days. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. It’s got a lot of rooms and we try to keep everything tidy, though with so many people coming through, it’s a constant job. The walls probably need a new coat of paint soon. I spend most of my shifts walking between the different sections making sure things are okay. We get a mix of people here. Some are older folks who have lived in Wilson Garden their whole lives, and then you see younger groups too. The 6th Cross is a bit narrower than the main roads, so it feels a little more tucked away once you get inside. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just know we are here because they live nearby or their friends told them. On weekends, it gets quite loud, which is to be expected I guess. Sometimes the kitchen gets backed up when everyone arrives at once. We just handle it as it comes. It’s not a corporate office vibe at all. It’s more like a place where the staff knows your name if you come in often enough. We just focus on keeping the doors open and making sure the lights stay on for everyone.
