Our office is out at 1285 on Karve Road, over in the Hosur Layout area. It’s a decent walk from the main bus stop, but we don’t mind it much. The building is fairly plain and we’ve got a corner on one of the middle floors. We work on various systems here, and it usually involves a lot of reading and checking data. The desks are pushed together so we can talk to each other without having to get up. We’ve got a lot of cables running across the floor, which we really should tape down one of these days. There’s no big fancy coffee machine here, just an old kettle and some jars of instant stuff in the corner. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat while we watch videos or just chat about nothing in particular. The view out the window is just of the street and some other buildings, nothing special to look at. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just want to make sure the work we do is solid and that the bills get paid on time. It’s a quiet life for the most part, unless we’re nearing a deadline. Then things get a bit more frantic, but we always manage to pull it off. After work, we just lock up and head out, usually stopping for a quick snack at the stand near the corner.
