Taste Buds Caterers

We’ve been set up here at the Oriental Building for a while now, right on St Marks Road. It’s on the second floor, just by the LIC office. Usually, it’s quite busy around this part of town, but we like being here. We spend most of our mornings getting everything ready for the day's orders. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space in the kitchen when the big orders come in, but we manage somehow. The staff here knows the area well. We’ve seen the street change quite a bit over the years. We mostly just focus on getting the food right and making sure it gets where it needs to go on time. It is a lot of work, honestly. Packing up the boxes and checking the lists takes a lot of time. We try not to make mistakes, though sometimes things get a bit hectic in the afternoons. If you're looking for us, just head up to the second floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, so watch your step. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just regular cooking for people who need it. Most of our day is spent over the stove or cleaning up. It's just a small group of us here working together. We’ve gotten used to the noise from the street below. It’s a good spot, even if it gets crowded. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do. We don't have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the building entrance.
