Talk Of The Town

If you go down R C Dutt Road in Alkapuri, you will find us at Gandhi Nagar. Talk Of The Town is right there at number 10. Vadodara is a busy city and this area is no different. We spend most of our mornings getting the place ready. It’s a lot of sweeping and making sure things are in order before the first person walks through the door. We’ve been in this spot for a few years now. It’s a good location because there are always people walking by on their way to other offices or shops. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town, we just want to be a reliable spot where people can come. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but everyone knows where we are. We have some chairs that aren't perfectly matched, but they work just fine for sitting. My brother and I usually handle the afternoon shift together. It gets pretty lively around five o'clock when everyone is heading home. We don't use any fancy systems, just a notebook and some basic stuff to keep track of things. It works for us. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around Gandhi Nagar. It’s just a normal business trying to do its part every day without making a big deal out of it. We keep things pretty simple around here.
