Our office is on the first floor over on Cambridge Road. If you know Ulsoor, you know how busy it gets around here. Sytech Engineering Pvt. Ltd has been tucked away in this 15/39 building for a good while. It's an old-school Bangalore spot, with the trees outside and the constant sound of bikes zooming past. We spend most of our hours looking at technical drawings or dealing with part orders. The space isn't huge, so things can get a bit cluttered with folders and old files. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always working overtime. Engineering work usually means a lot of back and forth, so there is always someone on a call or typing away at a loud keyboard. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but you get used to it after a week. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until the backup kicks in. It’s not a shiny corporate park, but it works for us. We like being in Ulsoor because everything is close by, even if the traffic is a headache. Most of the staff has been here long enough to know exactly which floorboard creaks. We just keep our heads down and get the projects finished as they come in. No big speeches, just everyday work in a dusty office.
