Swingers Dance Academies

You’ll find Swingers Dance Academies over in Indira Nagar. We are located right inside the Swadeshi Textile Market on Ring Road, at number 133. It’s an interesting place to be because the whole building is usually full of rolls of fabric and people haggling over prices. Our dance space is a bit of an escape from all that business outside. We’ve got a couple of rooms with mirrors on the walls. The floors are worn down in certain spots where everyone practices their footwork. It’s not a polished, high-end studio. It feels more like a community center. The noise from the Ring Road is always there in the background, but we just turn the music up a little more. We’ve been in this textile market for a good while. Most of the people who come here are locals from the Indira Nagar area. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign. Most people find us by just seeing the name while they are shopping for cloth. We spend our evenings teaching various styles. The lockers are a bit rusty and the lights flicker sometimes, but nobody really minds. We are more focused on the movement than the decor. It’s just a plain, hardworking place where people come to learn something new. We enjoy being part of the daily bustle of the market while doing our own thing.
