Gagan Music School

You can find Gagan Music School over at number 231 on 9th Main Road. We’re right in the heart of Jayanagar 3rd Block, which is usually a busy area with people walking by all the time. The school isn't very loud from the outside because we try to keep the windows shut during practice, but you can usually hear a bit of sitar or keyboard if you’re standing right by the door. We have a few rooms set up for different instruments. It’s not a big conservatory or anything like that, just a place where people come after work or school to learn a bit of music. We have teachers who come in at different times throughout the week. Sometimes the scheduling gets a bit chaotic when someone cancels last minute, but we figure it out. The instruments take up a lot of space, so you have to be careful where you walk. We’ve got some old chairs for parents to sit on while they wait for their kids. It’s a bit dusty because of the road work they’re always doing nearby, but we clean up every evening. Most people find us through word of mouth or just by seeing the sign while they’re out shopping. It’s a nice way to spend the evening, surrounded by people trying to hit the right notes. We don't have many rules, just show up on time and try to practice.
