Scaling Careers

If you find yourself on 6th Main Road over in the Raghavendra Block of Srinagar, you’ll likely pass by our office at number 831. We have been operating Scaling Careers from this part of Bangalore for a bit now. It is a local neighborhood vibe around here, which we actually prefer over the big glass buildings in the tech parks. Our space is pretty straightforward. There are a few tables, some old files, and usually someone complaining about the heat or the rain depending on the month. We spend our hours talking to people about where they want to go with their work lives. It is a lot of talking, honestly. Sometimes the tea lady comes by, and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon break. We don't have any fancy mission statements on the walls. Mostly just calendars and some sticky notes reminding us who to call back. The 560050 area is busy, but we’ve gotten used to the noise from the street. It feels more real being right here in the middle of it all. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sense of the hiring market which seems to change every other week. It’s not always easy, but it’s what we do. If you’re around Srinagar, you’ve probably seen the sign. We just keep things moving and hope for the best for the people we talk to daily.
