Student Zone

Student Zone is situated in Vijaya Nagar on Victoria Road at number 46. This is a part of town where there are always students around, so it makes sense for us to be here. We keep a lot of different things in stock like notebooks, pens, and other items that people need for school or college. The shop is small and the aisles are a bit tight because we try to fit in as much as we can. During the start of the school term, it gets very crowded and a bit chaotic with everyone looking for things at the same time. We try to keep everything in some kind of order, but it doesn't always stay that way. There is a small counter where we handle the sales, and there’s usually a stack of papers or books waiting to be shelved. The front door stays open to let in some air, but it also lets in the noise from Victoria Road. We see a lot of the same kids growing up over the years as they come back for their supplies every season. It’s a simple business that serves the local community without any extra flash. We just open up in the morning and wait for the first group of students to arrive. We often spend our quiet hours checking the pens to make sure none of them have dried out while sitting on the shelf.
