If you walk down 3rd Main Road in HAL, you might hear some music coming from our spot. We are located right at 2nd Cross in Bangalore. It is a busy little corner of the neighborhood. Inside, there are always instruments laying around and maybe some art supplies scattered on the tables. It is never really silent here. Kids come in after their regular school ends, usually looking a bit tired but ready to pick up a violin or a paintbrush. The walls have some smudges from years of students leaning against them. We have some old chairs and a few music stands that have seen better days. The teachers are usually local folks who just love what they do. Sometimes the traffic outside on the HAL roads gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a few rooms where people can sit down and learn a tune or draw something. On Saturdays, it gets even more crowded with parents waiting around and chatting. We keep some water in the corner and a few old magazines for them to flip through. It is a practical space. Nothing is overly polished. We just make sure the lights are on and the instruments are in tune for whoever walks through the door in this part of 560017.
