Swaroop Forge

Swaroop Forge is situated at E-57, Focal Point, in Dera Bassi. It’s a pretty standard industrial shed. Inside, it’s hot because of the furnaces. You can hear the hammering from down the street. We’ve been working out of Focal Point for a while now. The work is physically demanding. We are always dealing with metal and heat. It’s not a clean job, our clothes are usually stained with grease and soot. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us at the forge. We get the raw metal and shape it. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole morning fixing them. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. Dera Bassi is a good location for this kind of work because there are other shops nearby. We mostly just talk to our regular customers. We don't spend time on social media. Our focus is just on the work at E-57. We keep the hammers going and make sure the parts are right. It’s a simple life, really. We come in early, do the forging, and go home tired. Swaroop Forge is just a local shop where we put in the effort every day. Nothing more, nothing less. We just stay here and get the metalwork done. Even when it is raining or too hot, we are inside making sure the production doesn't stop for any reason.
