Swaptaswara Music

Swaptaswara Music is located at Arekere 277. It’s essentially a home-based setup where the rooms are filled with instruments. You won't find a big neon sign here. It’s a residential part of the neighborhood, and we try to keep things respectful of the neighbors. The address, Arekere 277, is easy enough to find if you know the streets around here. Inside, there are usually some chairs and a few music stands scattered around. We spend our days listening to people try to get the notes right. It can be a bit noisy at times, especially when the drums or the loud singing starts, but usually, it’s just the sound of someone practicing a scale. We don't have a big corporate mission or a shiny office. It’s just a place where music happens. We keep the instruments in their cases when they aren't being used to save space. People come here from all over the local area. They sit down, take out their books, and we go through the lessons. There is no polish to how we talk; it’s just plain talk about rhythm and sound. The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear the birds outside while you play. It’s a quiet, honest way to spend the day. We don't do much more than show people where to put their fingers and how to stay in tune.
