Svk Caterers

Svk Caterers operates out of Azad Nagar in Chamarajpet. We are located at No.16 on the 6th Cross, which is quite close to T R Mills. Chamarajpet is an old part of the city, so the streets have a lot of character and history. Our building is a simple one, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's a different story because the kitchen is always full of steam and the smell of roasting mustard seeds. We have a couple of large iron tawas and some heavy-duty mixers. Working near T R Mills means we see a lot of activity in the neighborhood. We usually start our prep work the night before for some of the dishes that need soaking. The 6th Cross is narrow, so we have to be quick when we load the vehicles so we don't block the neighbors. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people on the street. It’s not a fancy setup. We have some old wooden stools where we sit for a few minutes when we get a break. The walls are a bit darkened from the soot of the stoves, but we keep the cooking areas very clean. It’s a tough job being a caterer in an old area like this, but we make it work. We just focus on the daily tasks and try to stay organized with our orders.
