Super Pvd Technologies

We are over in Viswaneedam at number 246, running Super Pvd Technologies. It sounds like a very technical name, and I guess it is, but we are just regular people working with machines. We do PVD coating, which is that process where you put a thin layer on metal to make it look different or last longer. Our workshop has a few big vacuum chambers and a lot of electrical cables running everywhere. It’s not the quietest place to work because the pumps are always humming in the background. We spend a lot of time cleaning parts before they go into the machines. If there is even a little bit of finger grease, the coating won't stick right, so we have to be careful. Viswaneedam is where we set up because the space was right for the equipment. We aren't a big corporation with managers in suits. Usually, you’ll find us in our work shirts with some smudge on our hands. Customers bring us all sorts of things, from small bits of hardware to larger pieces. We just look at the metal and decide how long it needs to stay in the chamber. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait, which is just part of living here. We don’t do a lot of talking; we just focus on the gauges and the timing. It is honest work and we like seeing the finished parts come out all shiny. That is how the day goes for us.
