Our workshop, Sunvac Engineering And Fabricators, is tucked away in the Peenya Industrial Area at C 212 on the Cross Road. If you know the area, you know it's full of noise and metalwork everywhere you turn. We spend most of our days here dealing with various fabrication jobs that come our way. It’s mostly cutting, welding, and putting things together based on whatever drawings people bring us. Some days it’s really loud with the machines running all day long. We aren't a huge factory, just a local spot where we get our hands dirty. The floors usually have some metal shavings on them by noon, and there’s always a smell of grease or hot metal in the air. We’ve been at this location for a bit, and we know the neighbors around the industrial block pretty well. People come to us when they need something specific made out of steel or other metals. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. You just walk into the shed and find one of us working. It's practical work, and we just try to get the pieces finished so they can be picked up. Sometimes the deadlines are tight, so we stay late under the shop lights. It's hard work, but it’s what we do. The Peenya area is always busy, and we just fit right into the middle of it all with our tools and machines. We just work until the job is done.
