Sunil Kumar Architect

I’m Sunil Kumar, and I run my architecture practice out of Yeswanthpur in Bangalore. The office is at No. 42/3 in the GJR Building, which is in Gurumurthy Reddy Colony. We are on 11th Cross, pretty close to the LCR School. It’s a busy neighborhood, and being near the school means there’s always something going on outside. I’ve been working as an architect for quite a while now, and I’ve seen this part of Bangalore grow up around me. My work is mostly about helping people get their building plans sorted out. It’s not just about drawing pretty pictures; it’s about making sure the measurements are right and the structure will actually stand up. I spend a lot of time at my drafting table or meeting people right here in the colony. I don't go for big advertisements or fancy corporate offices. I prefer to keep things simple and talk to my clients like neighbors. Usually, someone will drop by because they saw my sign or heard from a friend that I helped them with their house. I handle the technical side of the building process so the owners don't have to get stressed about it. It’s a lot of work and sometimes things get delayed, but I always try to be straight with people about how things are going. That’s just the way I like to work, and people seem to appreciate it.
