Team Two Architects & Consulting Engineers

Our office is listed over at Vidhana Soudha, but we spend a lot of our time at the 302 Orlem Malad West location. Team Two Architects & Consulting Engineers is basically just a group of us who spend our days looking at blueprints and arguing over measurements. The office in Malad is usually a bit of a mess with rolls of paper everywhere and samples of tiles or bricks sitting on the floor. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have old drafting tables that have been scratched up over the years, and there’s always a faint smell of ink and coffee in the air. Sometimes we have to go out to sites, so there are usually a couple of pairs of dusty boots sitting by the door. We aren't the type to wear suits unless there’s a really big meeting, which doesn't happen that often. Most days it’s just jeans and shirts while we try to figure out how to make a design work. The phone rings a lot with contractors asking questions about things they found on-site. We’ve got a small window that looks out over the street, but mostly we’re just focused on the drawings in front of us. It’s a lot of long hours and re-doing sketches because someone changed their mind about a wall. We just keep at it until the job is done and then move on to the next one.
