Sumadhura Music Classes

Sumadhura Music Classes are located over in Sanjay Nagar Warje Malwadi, right near the Mumbai Bangalore Highway. Being so close to the highway means there is always some noise outside, but inside we just focus on the music. We started these classes because we wanted a place where local kids and adults could come to learn without having to travel too far into the city. The space is not very large, but it is enough for a few students to sit together and practice their scales. We don’t have a website with fancy photos or a big marketing team. It is just us teaching what we know. Some days are loud and some are quiet, depending on who shows up. We use regular instruments that have seen a lot of use over the years. We think it’s better that way because you don’t have to worry about a few scratches. Teaching music is mostly about repetition and staying patient. We see people improve slowly over the months, which is nice to watch. If you are looking for a place that feels like a home and not a cold institution, that is basically us. We don’t promise to make anyone a star, we just teach you how to play. People from the area know us by name, and we like that personal connection.
