Suma Engineering is located at 154/155 on Sunkadakatte Tent Road. It is one of those industrial patches where you hear the constant sound of welding and grinding from early in the morning until the sun goes down. We have a decent-sized space here, filled with the usual engineering stuff like lathes, drill presses, and various scrap metal pieces. The road outside can get pretty muddy and difficult when it rains, and finding a good parking spot for a delivery truck is always a bit of a daily challenge. We are a small team of workers, mostly just local guys who live in the nearby blocks. We spend our days working on various engineering parts, sometimes for big industrial machines and sometimes just small fixes for someone who walked in off the street. There is no air conditioning in the shop, just the big open doors to let whatever breeze there is come inside. We don't have a website that we update or any of that modern stuff; we just rely on the work we do to keep people coming back. Sometimes a job takes a lot longer than we originally thought because a machine breaks down or we run out of a specific material, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break area at the back, talking about the local news or how the traffic on the way home is going to be. It is just a regular, gritty engineering shop.
