Sujatha Engineering Works

Over in Jalahalli West, specifically at Balaji Extension, you’ll find Sujatha Engineering Works. We are located right at the 10th Cross in the Kalanagar area. Our workshop is usually full of the sound of machines running and the smell of cut metal. It’s not a clean place, as there is always some oil on the floor or metal shavings under the workbenches. We take on all kinds of repair jobs and fabrication work for the local industries and residents. Most of the time, we are busy at the lathe or working on a welding project that someone brought in that morning. The space is a bit cramped because of all the equipment we’ve squeezed in there over the years. We started this place with just a couple of machines and slowly added more as we needed them. People bring in broken parts that they can’t find replacements for, and we see if we can fix them or make a new one from scratch. It’s practical work that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. We don’t spend money on advertising; the stuff we make usually speaks for itself among the mechanics in KG Halli. It’s a long day at the shop, but there is a certain satisfaction in finishing a piece and seeing it fit perfectly back into the machine it came from. We just keep working until the orders are finished and the lights go out. It's how we’ve always done things here.
