Stone Arts D

Our place is in Adugodi at number 31, specifically near the Ichhapore Bus Stand No 3. We are right on Adadhan Hzira Road, across from the traffic police station. Working with stone means things are always a bit messy here. There is usually a layer of fine dust on everything, no matter how much we clean. We do a lot of the work right there in the yard and the small office area. You can hear the sound of tools hitting stone throughout the day. It’s a very physical kind of job. We don’t have a fancy showroom. People just come by and see what we are working on at the moment. The location is busy with buses and police cars going by all the time. It’s a bit of a rough-and-ready setup, but it suits the kind of work we do. We have pieces of granite and marble leaning against the walls. Some of them have been there for months. We just take it one piece at a time. The staff here is small, just a few people who know how to handle the materials. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing talk. We just show people what we've made and tell them how long it will take. It’s honest work and it keeps us tired but satisfied. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we take our breaks in the shade.
