Craft Fabrication

If you head over to Sampangirama Nagar and look for 8th Cross on 5th Main, you’ll find us. Craft Fabrication is basically a workshop. It’s not a clean, white-walled office. There is usually dust on the floor and the sound of tools running. We work with our hands most of the day. Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar is a good place for a business like ours because we are close to where things are happening. We started this because we liked making things. It wasn't about a big business plan or anything. We just had some tools and a bit of space. Now, we spend our time cutting, bending, and putting things together. The guys here have been doing this for years. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back working on a project. We talk more about measurements and materials than we do about business strategy. It’s a loud place sometimes, but that’s how fabrication goes. We don't mind the hard work. It feels good to see something finished at the end of the day. We aren't the biggest shop in town, but we stay busy. People find us by word of mouth mostly. We just keep our heads down and focus on the metal and the machines. It’s a straightforward life here at the shop. We like the smell of grease and the sound of work being done. Everything is pretty simple.
