A. B. Fabrics Bangalore

We are up on the 2nd floor at 3/1 in Bamboo Bazar, which is over in the Moti Nagar area off N. R. Road. If you know Bangalore, you know the traffic around here can be a real headache. Moving fabrics up and down those stairs isn't the easiest part of the day, but we’ve gotten used to it. The space we have is quite open but it gets filled up quickly when a new shipment arrives. We focus on getting the right fabrics out to the people who need them. It is a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting and then folding everything back up neatly, or as neat as we can manage. The building itself is pretty standard for this part of the city. We don't have a big sign or anything too flashy out front. Most of our day is spent talking to regular customers and figuring out how much stock we have left of certain colors. It gets a bit loud with the noise from the street coming up through the windows. We usually have some tea in the afternoon and then get back to packing up the orders for the next day. It is just us doing our thing in a corner of Moti Nagar, making sure the business keeps ticking along. We don't really do anything complicated, just provide the fabrics and handle the daily chores that come with running a shop like this one.
