We are located at 296 in Wilson Garden, right across from the Janatha Hotel. If you’re looking for us, just look for the hotel and then turn around, we’re right there near 11th Cross. It’s a good spot, though the smell of dosa from across the street makes us hungry all morning. We work with watches and clocks, so our days are filled with tiny parts and the sound of ticking. It takes a lot of patience to sit at a bench all day peering through a magnifying glass. My eyes get tired by the evening, but there's something nice about fixing something that’s been broken for years. We get a lot of older folks coming in with watches their fathers gave them. It’s not a fast-paced business. You can’t rush a clock. The shop is small and a bit crowded with boxes and old parts we’ve kept "just in case." We’ve been here in Wilson Garden for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. But people still need to know the time, so we stay busy enough. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to stop by. It’s a quiet life, mostly, except for when the bells on the wall all go off at noon.
