Ss Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. is located right near the water tank in Nandini Layout. If you find the tank, you've pretty much found us at 16, Jahnavi. It’s a noisy place most days because the machines are always running. We’ve been working out of this spot for a good number of years now. It gets hot in the workshop, especially in the afternoons. We do a lot of metal work and repairs. There are piles of scrap in the corner and tools everywhere. We try to keep things in order, but it’s hard when there’s so much coming in and out. Most of our guys have been here since we started. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices. We just have a desk in the front and the workshop in the back. You'll probably see some grease on the floor and hear the sound of welding. That’s just how it is here. We focus on getting the jobs done as they come. Sometimes we stay late if a part needs fixing right away. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We know the neighbors and they know the sound of our shop. It’s a practical place for people who need things made or fixed. We don't spend much time on paperwork, mostly just on the machines. The floor is stained and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't affect the work we do. We just keep our heads down and get through the daily tasks.
