Srinivasa Kalyana Mantapa

Srinivasa Kalyana Mantapa is over in Rajajinagar 2nd Block. Our address is 619/H, and we are quite close to the ESI Hospital. If you are in the 560010 area, you've probably passed by our gate. It’s a decent-sized hall where families come to hold their weddings and other small functions. We spend a lot of time moving chairs around and making sure the stage is clear for the next group. The building is older, with some of those classic Bangalore architectural touches. On the weekends, it gets very crowded and the parking on the street can be a real headache. We have a small office near the entrance where we talk to families about their dates. It’s a lot of listening to what people want for their special days. We don't have a big marketing budget or glossy brochures. Most people come to us because their parents or relatives held an event here years ago. The kitchen area in the back is large because we have to accommodate different cooks that the families bring in. We make sure the floors are mopped after every event, which is a lot of work given how much marigold petals and rice end up everywhere. It’s a busy place, but we like seeing the families gather. It feels like a very local part of Rajajinagar life. We just try to keep it clean.
