Sri Vinayaka Engineering Works

Our shop is located at 67 Cottonpet Mill Road, right inside the Thirumala Nilayam building. It is a very busy part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic and the people walking by outside. We do engineering work here, mostly small repairs and making parts when people bring them in. The machines take up almost all the floor space we have. It smells like oil and metal most days, which is just part of the job in a workshop like this. We have been at this same address for a long time now. Some of the guys have been working the lathes and the drills since they were very young. We do not have a website or any social media pages. If someone needs something fixed, they usually just walk in with the part in their hands and show it to us. We take a look, see if we can do it, and tell them when to come back. Sometimes we get big jobs that take us all week to finish. Other times it is just someone needing a small bolt tightened or a little bit of welding done. Cottonpet is always crowded, so finding a place to park is a real headache near the mill road. We usually just park our bikes in whatever gap we can find. The lights inside are not the brightest but we manage to get the work done.
