Sri Vijayalakshmi Engineering

Being located at 83 Peenya Industrial Area 6th Cross means we are right in the middle of all the noise and heavy work. This part of Ganapathy Nagar is always buzzing with the sound of grinders and heavy trucks moving in and out. At Sri Vijayalakshmi Engineering, the floors are concrete and usually have a few oil spots here and there. We spend our days working with metal, turning handles on the machines, and checking measurements. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice shirt because of the grease and the metal shavings that fly around. The air smells like machine oil and hot steel most of the time. We’ve been at this 6th Cross spot for years now, and we’ve seen the industrial area grow and change around us. The power goes out sometimes, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. It’s honest work that leaves your back aching by the end of the shift. Most of our neighbors are also workshops, so there’s a lot of shouting back and forth over the noise of the lathes. We keep the big sliding doors open to let in whatever breeze we can get, though it mostly just brings in more Peenya dust. It’s a straightforward shop where we focus on the job at hand and try to get the parts out on time.
