Sri Venkateshwara College Of Engineering

Sri Venkateshwara College Of Engineering is located up in Yelahanka, specifically in the Vidya Nagar area. Being on this side of Bangalore, we get a bit more space than the colleges right in the city center. We’ve been here for quite some time, and we’ve seen Yelahanka change from a quiet suburb into a busy part of the city. Our campus in Vidya Nagar is a pretty functional place. We don't have any interest in sounding like a big corporation. We’re just a group of teachers, administrators, and maintenance folks making sure the college runs. Every morning, the gates open and the students start trickling in from all over. The atmosphere is generally quiet, focused on the labs and the libraries. We don’t have many frills here. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves when we can. The gardens are kept up as best as possible, though the Bangalore weather can be unpredictable. We focus on the basics of engineering education without a lot of extra fluff. Most of us have been working here for years, so it feels a bit like a second home. We like the local vibe of Vidya Nagar. It’s a practical place for people who are serious about their studies. We don’t make big speeches or use a lot of marketing talk. We just show up, do our jobs, and help the students do theirs in a simple, straightforward way.
