Sri Thirumala Engineering Works

We have been running Sri Thirumala Engineering Works for quite some time now at No. 83 3Rd Main Road. Being right near Anusuya Ashram makes it easy for people to find us in Rajajinagar. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. It is just a practical space where we get the work done. You can usually hear the sound of the machines from the street. We have some old lathes and a few newer drills that stay busy most of the day. The air inside smells like metal and machine oil. It is a bit cramped with all the projects we have going on but we manage fine. Sometimes the dust from the road blows in when the shutters are up. We don't mind it much. Rajajinagar is a busy place and there is always something happening on the 3rd Main. We see the same people walking past every day on their way to the ashram. Our routine is simple. We start in the morning and work through the list of jobs. There isn't a lot of talking, just the noise of the tools. When the power goes out, we just take a break and wait it out. It is a local life. We don't have a big corporate office or a sales team. It is just us and the engineering work we do every day. We just focus on the task right in front of us until it's finished. The floor is stained with oil and the walls are covered in old calendars.
