Sri Shiva Shakthi Crane

We operate out of 6 and 7 in Subhash Nagar, right across from PES College. Most folks know the spot because of the big cranes parked there. It’s a busy area in Electronic City, especially at the 4th Cross near Butter Halli. We’ve been handling heavy lifting for a long time now. It’s not the kind of job where you sit in an office. We’re usually out on a site or making sure the engines are running okay. The machines are old but they work hard. Keeping them maintained takes up a lot of our time when we aren't out on a call. Sometimes the calls come in at odd hours when someone’s truck is stuck or a construction site needs something moved. It’s a lot of grease and heavy cables. The location is good because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily, though the traffic near the college can be a nightmare in the afternoons. We started with just one crane and slowly added another one. It’s just us and a couple of operators who have been with us forever. We don’t really bother with big signs or marketing. People just see the cranes and know where to find us. It’s a rough business, but someone has to do it. We just focus on getting the machines to the site and doing the job without any fuss. It's dusty and loud but we are used to it by now. We just take it day by day.
