Sri Saptaka Sangitha Academy

We are located in Basaveshwara Nagar, specifically at 1St A Cross, 5Th Main in the 2Nd Stage. Our building is number 480. It is a fairly quiet residential neighborhood compared to the main roads of the city. Inside, you can usually hear the sound of music being practiced from the morning until the evening. We have different rooms for different instruments and singing. It is not a huge academy with hundreds of rooms, just a dedicated space where we spend our time teaching. The floors are simple and we have some old rugs where students sit. We spend a lot of time tuning instruments and going over the same notes repeatedly. The 2Nd Stage of Basaveshwara Nagar is a nice area with some trees, so it stays a bit cooler. We have a few cupboards where we keep the books and some spare strings. There is no corporate office feel here. It feels more like a home where people come to learn something they enjoy. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address 480. People find us mostly because they live in the area or they heard about us from a neighbor. It is just a place where music is part of the daily routine. We open the windows when it is nice out and let the sound carry into the street.
