Sri Ramdev Bhojanalaya

Sri Ramdev Bhojanalaya is located at 68 Cubbonpet Main Road. If you are familiar with the 560002 area of Bangalore, you know it is one of the oldest and most cramped parts of the city. The streets are narrow and there are shops everywhere you look. We have been here for a long time and the building itself shows its age. We don't have a lot of space, but we use what we have to serve people who work in the nearby cloth markets and workshops. It is a very simple bhojanalaya without any bells or whistles. You won't find any fancy menus or waiter uniforms here. We just cook and serve what is ready for the day. Most of the people who eat here are regulars who have been coming for years. They know where to sit and they don't expect anything fancy. The noise from the main road is constant and sometimes it is hard to hear anything over the motorcycles and rickshaws outside. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is a lot of manual labor and the kitchen gets very hot, especially in the afternoons. We don't have a marketing strategy or a brand. We are just a local spot in Cubbonpet where people can get a meal. It is an honest living and we are happy to stay in this neighborhood.
