Sri Munikrishna Engineering Works

Sri Munikrishna Engineering Works is down at 370 Nagashettyhalli, where you’ll find our workshop. It’s been here for a good stretch of time. We mostly do metal work and repairs on different kinds of machinery. The space is filled with tools, scraps of iron, and the smell of oil. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s just how engineering shops are when work is actually getting done. We’ve got a couple of old lathes and some welding gear that have seen a lot of use over the years. My guys are usually covered in grease by noon, working on whatever project came in that morning. Sometimes it’s a small part for a neighbor’s machine, and other times it’s a bigger piece of equipment that needs a lot of attention. We don't really do much advertising; the shop stays busy enough with people from around the neighborhood dropping by. The noise of grinding and hammering is pretty constant from morning until we close up for the evening. We try to keep things simple here. If something is broken, we look at it and see if it can be fixed. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just find us in the back working on a motor or a frame. It’s just honest shop work, day in and day out, in Nagashettyhalli. We just try to get things back in working order for folks.
