Sri Lakshmi Pharma

You can find Sri Lakshmi Pharma out on Kanakapura Main Road, specifically in the Kaggalipura area. It’s a bit further out from the main city center, near Banashankari. Being on the main road means we see a lot of people passing through on their way somewhere else. It’s a bit greener out here compared to the middle of Bangalore, which is nice. We have a fair amount of space in the shop, so it doesn’t feel too crowded even when we have stock arriving. I started working here because it was close to home. The mornings are usually pretty calm, with just the sound of the birds and the occasional truck passing by. By noon, it gets quite hot, so we keep the fans going full blast. We mostly serve the people living around Kaggalipura and the small villages nearby. They come in for the basics and we try to keep them on hand. We don't try to do anything too complicated here. We just keep the shelves stocked and make sure the place is clean. Sometimes we have a chat with the farmers who come by on their way to the market. It’s a different pace of life out here. We don’t have any big corporate goals or things like that. We just want to make sure the people around here have what they need without having to travel into the city. It’s a good way to spend the day.
