Kemwell Biopharma

Kemwell Biopharma is situated at Kemwell House, which is No. 11 on Tumkur Road. It’s a big, long road that connects a lot of the industrial parts of the city. Being out here means we deal with a lot of the highway noise and the constant stream of lorries heading out of town. The building itself has been our base for a long time. It’s got that solid, older feel to it, not like these new glass towers that look like they’d blow over in a storm. Inside, things are a bit more organized than your average shop because of the nature of biopharma work, but we still have our quirks. The break room has a fridge that hums too loudly and a kettle that takes forever to boil. We’ve spent many late nights here on Tumkur Road trying to get things right. It’s a serious business, but we aren't serious people all the time. There’s a lot of walking back and forth between the different sections of No. 11. You get your exercise just by coming to work. The commute can be a pain depending on the time of day, but once you’re inside the gates of Kemwell House, it’s like its own little world. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s a busy life here and it keeps us on our toes.
