Sri Kuchalamba Kalyana Mahal

Our hall is located over on Byrasandra Gandhi Road. Most people find us by looking for the Bank of Baroda because we are right opposite that. It’s an older building, Sri Kuchalamba Kalyana Mahal, and we have been hosting weddings and functions for quite some time now. The street can get a bit crowded when there is a big event, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We have enough space for a decent crowd. It’s not one of those modern glass buildings you see nowadays. It is more traditional, with basic fans and lights. We keep the place swept and ready for whoever has a booking. Usually, it's local families from around the 560011 area. They come to check the dates and see if the kitchen space is okay for their cooks. We don't provide the food, just the space and the chairs. Sometimes the decoration takes all night to set up and we have to stay late. We are usually here early in the morning to open the gates for the flowers to arrive. It’s a lot of work keeping a big place like this running, especially during the wedding season. There is always something to fix or a lightbulb to change. We just try to make sure everything works when the guests arrive. It’s a plain, honest hall for people who need a place for their ceremonies. We don't do anything flashy. It's just a place for people to gather and celebrate.
