Sri Krishna Bakery & Sweets

If you're walking down Chamundi Nagar Main Road, you'll find us over in Kauser Nagar. Sri Krishna Bakery & Sweets has been a fixture on this road for a while. We do all the usual things you'd expect from a local bakery. We have glass cases filled with different sweets and racks for the bread and buns we bake. The ovens in the back are going for most of the day. It gets pretty warm in there, especially during the summer. We’re just a regular neighborhood shop where people stop by to grab a snack or some sweets for their kids. The floors are plain tile and we have a few jars of biscuits on the counter. We don't have a designer interior or anything like that. It’s just a place to get something to eat. We start baking very early so the bread is ready when the first customers come in. Sometimes the batches don't look perfectly uniform, but that's because we do a lot of it ourselves without big industrial equipment. We know most of the families around Kauser Nagar. They come in for their daily needs or for something special when they have guests. We don't do much in the way of advertising; the smell of the bakery usually does the work for us. It’s a simple life, keeping the shelves stocked and greeting the people who walk in every day.
