Sri Kamtech Engineering Works

Down here at 4 Srirampuram 2nd Cross, you can usually hear us before you see us. Sri Kamtech Engineering Works is a small place in the Pillamma Block. It is loud because of the machines running. We do a lot of metal work and fixing parts that have worn out. The floor is usually covered in some oil and metal scraps. It’s not the cleanest place, but we get the job done. My hands are almost always black from the grease. We have a couple of lathes and some welding equipment that have seen better days but they still work fine. People bring us all sorts of things, from broken gate hinges to engine parts that need a bit of smoothing out. We don't spend much time on the computer or anything like that. Most of the work happens right there on the bench. Sometimes it gets really hot in here, especially in the afternoons. We just keep the fan going and move on to the next task. If you are looking for us, look for the pile of scrap metal near the door. We have been in Srirampuram for a bit now and know most of the shop owners around here. It is a busy little area. We just stick to our work and try to finish things as they come in. Nothing too complicated about it.
