Sri Jahnavi Engineering Works

Our place is located over at 86/3 Hebbagodi, specifically in the Sri Rama Reddy Building on Khodiyar Nagar Road. It’s a small engineering workshop called Sri Jahnavi Engineering Works. We’ve been in this building for a while, and it’s become our second home. The area around Hebbagodi is always changing, but our shop stays pretty much the same. We have our lathes and welding equipment set up in the back, and the front is where we talk to customers who drop off their work. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us. Most of what we do is basic metalwork and fixing parts for local machinery. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually pretty stained with oil and dirt. We don't have any fancy receptionists or a cooling system; we just use the ceiling fans and keep the shutter halfway up if the sun is too bright. We like the independence of running our own small shop. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure it’s right. Some days we have a lot of orders to finish, and other days we’re just doing maintenance on our own tools. It’s a practical life, and we don't ask for much more than that. The Sri Rama Reddy Building is a good spot for us, and we’re happy to be here working.
