Sri Guru Engineering Works

Sri Guru Engineering Works is situated at 333 in the Peenya Industrial Area. We are on 9th Cross, 4th Main, specifically in the 4th Phase. This part of Peenya is full of workshops and small factories. Our place is full of heavy machines and tools. There is always the sound of grinding metal or someone hammering something. It is a dirty job and we all end up with grease on our hands by noon. The building is an old one, with high ceilings and a lot of vents to let the smoke out. We have been here for quite a while now. The 4th phase is a bit tucked away, but those who know the area find us easily enough on 9th cross. We have a small office area blocked off by a plywood wall where we keep the ledgers. The rest of the space is just for the work. We don't have a reception desk or anything like that. If someone comes by, they just walk in and find us at the machines. We know most of the other shop owners on this block. We often borrow tools from each other. The power supply can be a bit tricky during the summer months. It is a place for getting things made, not for sitting around. We keep the floor swept but the metal dust always comes back by the end of the shift.
